Killam Health Centre Emergency Department will be temporarily closed due to physician shortage from Wednesday, December 31st 2025 at 4:00PM to Thursday, January 1st, 2026 at 8:00AM. Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency. Other Emergency Departments include: Daysland Health Centre at 5920 51 Ave (30 km away) or Viking Health Centre at 5110 57 Ave (40 km away).
The Town Office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24th at Noon, reopening Monday, January 5, 2026 at 8:30am. Payments can be dropped off at the front door drop box of the Town Office. Online banking and e-transfer payments are also accepted at bills@town.killam.ab.ca . In case of a utility emergency contact: Public Works at 780-385-3973 (water, sewer, roads) or Iron Creek Gas at 780-384-3762 (natural gas).
