The Killam & District Ag Society is a volunteer organization that hosts the annual Killam Indoor Rodeo, held every year on the Friday and Saturday prior to Fathers Day in June. The Killam & District Ag Society also helps with costs for maintenance and insurance of the Killam Recreation Facility (Agriplex and Arena), recognizing that recreation is an important aspect of our rural community. A board that helps promote and inspire the huge variety of programming and services this the Killam Public Library has to offer. The Library isn't just about books anymore. Become part of a team that can introduce many varied interests and activities to be shared right here at home. Meetings take place once a month.
A volunteer group that is assigned to the duty of raising funds for the many programs and user opportunities that Killam Library offers its users. Meetings take place once a month, typically in conjunction with the regular Killam Public Library boards meeting.
A community service group that is dedicated to honouring veterans that served in our Canadian military.
Killam area Seniors (age 55+) are welcome to join in the many scheduled activities! Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:30pm. Potluck suppers, monthly Birthday celebrations, bowling, floor curling, and cards are just some of the things going on.

The Recreation Board is a volunteer committee appointed to represent recreation as a whole in the community of Killam. Members are typically appointed for a term of three years.

Competitive Swimming for ages 5 and up. During the months of May to August. We participate in Swim Meet Competitions around the Central Alberta Region with Provincials in August in Edmonton. Many commitment levels and New Swimmers Welcome.
