The Killam Memorial arena plays an important role to providing recreational opportunities to the community. While the artificial ice is in from September to March, some of it's many uses include minor hockey, Jr. B hockey, hockey clinics, power skating, public skating & shinny (with the generous aide of corporate sponsorship), school physical education classes. From April to August, the floor surface is then used for the annual indoor rodeo, 4-H Beef Show & Sales, trade fairs as well as community charity and garage sales.
