Killam Chamber of Commerce

Originating from the Killam District Board of Trade formed in 1945, the Killam Chamber of Commerce emerged in 1970.  Monthly meetings were held with 7 to 27 people attending.  Held in the Town Hall, various issues of the day that were addressed included C.T.V. Booster, a loading chute for the Killam Auction Mart and construction of  Highway 36.

Today the Chamber of Commerce continues to be active in the community of Killam. Meeting the first Thursday of the month, ideas to promote local business and draw people to the Town are subjects that are on current agendas! If you are interested in attending, please feel free to contact a member of the Board for the details and location.
