Killam's Emergency Department will be serviced with a virtual emergency physician the following times:
- 8am Wednesday, September 23 to 8am Thursday, September 24
- 4pm Thursday, September 24 to 5pm Friday, September 25
The Town of Killam Office will be closing at 1pm on Tuesday, September 29th for staff training. Regular hours will resume Wednesday, September 30th at 8:30am.
Starting October 1st, residents will have access to new curbside recycling collection services. You'll be able to recycle materials like glass, foam packaging, flexible and rigid plastic, cardboard, paper and metal. Killam's first collection is scheduled for Friday, October 9th and will then continue every 2 weeks. Please have bags out by 7am and only use clear or blue recycling bags.

Killam physician clinics will temporarily relocate to the Flagstaff County Office starting April 7, 2026 for approximately four weeks. This affects patients of Dr. Tim Hanton, Dr. Rami Abu-Zeidan and Dr. Stanislav Ahteminciuc. Patients are asked to call their physician's office to confirm the location of their appointment.
