Starting October 1st, residents will have access to new curbside recycling collection services. You'll be able to recycle materials like glass, foam packaging, flexible and rigid plastic, cardboard, paper and metal. Watch for more update to come!
Starting 5pm on Friday, August 7, 2026, Killam's Emergency Department will be serviced with a Virtual Emergency Physician through the weekend until Monday, August 10, 2026 at 8am. Nursing staff will remain on-site and EMS will remain available and work closely with nursing teams to transport patients to surrounding facilities if needed.
At the Regular Council Meeting on May 21, 2026, the Summer Council Meeting Schedule was set as follows:

Killam physician clinics will temporarily relocate to the Flagstaff County Office starting April 7, 2026 for approximately four weeks. This affects patients of Dr. Tim Hanton, Dr. Rami Abu-Zeidan and Dr. Stanislav Ahteminciuc. Patients are asked to call their physician's office to confirm the location of their appointment.
