NO FEE Weekend at Killam Transfer Site

Residents can take their Spring Cleaning regular household garbage to the Killam Transfer Site for no charge on Saturday, May 9th and Sunday, May 10th. Refrigerants and mattresses will have a $20/unit charge applied. Killam's Transfer Site is located east of the Viterra elevator on Highway 13, then north at RR 133.

Memorial Tree Applications 2026

Applications are now being accepted for 2026 Memorial Tree planting for late spring. If you have a loved one you would like to plant a tree for in their memory, please contact the Town Office for addition information. Deadline for applications will be Friday, May 22nd.

Temporary Relocation of Killam Physician Clinics

Killam physician clinics will temporarily relocate to the Flagstaff County Office starting April 7, 2026 for approximately four weeks. This affects patients of Dr. Tim Hanton, Dr. Rami Abu-Zeidan and Dr. Stanislav Ahteminciuc. Patients are asked to call their physician's office to confirm the location of their appointment.

Town of Killam Council Meeting Highlights

March 16, 2023

The 2022 Town of Killam Financial Statements were approved and accepted.
The tender bid from Wallace Enterprises Ltd was accepted for the demolition of the residence at 4922-48^th Street.
The tender bid from Forestburg Transmit Mix was accepted for the 51A Avenue road improvement project.
The contract with Wainwright Assessment Group for Assessment Services was extended for an additional 3 years.
Administration will work with Connect Mobility to further explore the needs for better internet service within the Town of Killam.
A donation will be given to Flagstaff Community Adult Learning in support of the Welcoming Community Project.
A contribution from the Town of Killam will be given in addition to the Flagstaff Healthcare and Attraction Committee’s gift for recognition of EMTs in the Flagstaff region.
