Before January 31, the cost to license your dogs and cats is only $15 each! As of February 1, the fee changes to $30 per pet.
Licensing helps us find your pet's home - if it should make a great escape! (And it happens quite often!) For your pets sake, make sure we have your information! One year we were able to contact the Owners of a run-away pet that was vacationing in Tofield, AB!
Pet licenses can be submitted on the Killam APP, or just call the Town Office at 780-385-3977. Payments can be submitted via e-transfer (bills@town.killam.ab.ca), cash or cheque in the Drop Box at the front door, or debit during Office hours. Tags will be be available for pick up or mailed to you once payment has been received.
* Please Note: Should your pet be picked up without a current tag, the fine under Bylaw 815A begins at $250.
