Water Treatment Plant Upgrade
One of the projects scheduled to take place in 2024 is the replacement of piping in Killam's Water Treatment Plant, as well as upgrades to the Analyzer. This project began on Friday, November 1 and took approximately 1 week to complete.
Although there is no planned interruption in water services expected, the water will be redirected during this period which may limit capacity at times. We ask that Killam Residents please be mindful of their water usage in the upcoming weeks.
Additionally, in order to help ensure water supply remains sufficient, the Bulk Water Station was temporarily closed to the public during this project. Upon completion, the Station is once again OPEN.
