Town of Killam Council has identified the need for some additional street lighting in various areas within Killam limits. We are excited to be partnering with Fortis Alberta to complete this project that was identified in Killam's Strategic Plan in 2023.
10 additional street lights will be placed throughout Town. The light standards and lights will be installed on the necessary boulevards. Currently Fortis is in the process of marking where these lights will be and adjacent property owners will be receiving notification letters.
Installation will take place later in the spring!
