There is a possibility Canada Post will be going on strike again sometime in May of 2025. To prepare for delays, please contact the Town Office to set up an alternative method to receive bills, such as email, pick up from the office, etc.
Property Tax notices will still be issued on May 30th and it is the responsibility of the homeowner to ensure their property taxes are paid by July 31st to avoid penalty charges. Utility bills will continue to be issued at the beginning of each month, which is again the responsibility of the resident to make sure it is paid on time to avoid penalties and utility shut offs.
Please remember to check junk mail folders if signed up to receive bills via email. If you do not receive a bill within the beginning of the month, please notify the Town Office- Phone: 780-385-3977 Email: bills@town.killam.ab.ca
Instead of mailing a cheque for payment, the following payment methods will be accepted: Cash, Debit, Cheque (dropped off at office), Online at ATB Financial or Vision Credit Union, and E-Transfer to bills@town.killam.ab.ca
