Recreation & Parks
Centennial Park
Centennial Park is enjoyable for both winter and summer activities. Families have fun tobogganing down the hill and skating on the pond in the winter months; and bike riding on the paths or playing on the playground in the summer.
During the summer the Park campground is well utilized. There is a concession building which has washrooms and showers. The park also has a playground and small creek passing by where you can observe natures best.
A variety of ages use the ball facility, with 3 softball/minor ball diamonds, and 1 baseball diamond, which is home to the Killam Braves Senior Baseball Team. All diamonds are fenced with shale infields and grass outfields, and are all equipped with home/visitor dugouts and viewing stands.
