A Family Friendly Ham & Turkey Bingo will begin at 7pm on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at the Killam Community Hall.
$20 for 20 regular games and Proxy Tickets are available.
Proceeds are in support of the Killam & District Health Care Foundation.
With a busy holiday season ahead of us, the next regular meeting of Killam Town Council will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, beginning at 7:00pm.
The December 20, 2018 regular meeting is cancelled.

Beginning in November, MyFlagstaff.ca will be facilitating efforts to provide information and promote feed back regarding the Regional Govenance Project that was undertaken by the Flagstaff Intermunicipal Partnership organization.
Guided by New West Opportunities Inc., residents within the Flagstaff County boundries are asked to take part in completing a questionnaire and to participate in "town hall meetings" and information booths to learn more about the proposed regional governance project. The questionnaire can be found and downloaded from the MyFlagstaff.ca website.

The Flagstaff Food Bank will once again be co-ordinating the annual Christmas Sharing Program in Flagstaff County, a community tradition that involves the collection and distribution of gifts and food hampers for those less fortunate within our County's borders.

If you are a family in need, or aware of a family that is struggling, please feel free to forward their name (with their permission!) and information (forms are available at FFCS,Killam Town Office or click the present below!) to the Flagstaff Food Bank or calling: (780) 385-3976. Requests are to be submitted by Nov 23, 2018.

Adopt a Family - November 30, 2018
If you or a group are interested in "Adopting a Family", please notify FFCS by November 30, 2018 at 780-385-3976. Gift purchases are to be limited to approximately $60 per family member. Please leave all gifts unwrapped - but include some gift wrap with your family's gift bundle. **FFCS may re-distribute excess purchases to other persons if need be. If you are gifting clothing, please include the "Gift Receipt" - in case an exchange is necessary. Due to increasing occurance of allergies, FFCS asks that stuffed toys not be given. Deliver your gifts to 4919 - 47 Street, Sedgewick (the Community Press Building), between Monday, December 3 - Friday, December 14, 2018.
If you are interested in volunteering for an hour or a full day, please call ahead, 780-385-3976, to find out when your help can be best utilized. Also, help with clean up will be required December 18 or 19, 2018. Preparations will begin Monday, December 4, 2017. Donations will be accepted from December 3 - December 14, 2018 from 10am to 4pm during weekdays. Monetary donations can also be mailed to Flagstaff Christmas Sharing, Box 352, Killam, AB T0B 2L0.
