SPRING FLING Roller Derby! This is where you'll want to be!
Come out and enjoy an afternoon & evening of excitement at the Killam Memorial Arena. HWY 14 Roller Derby Assoiciation will be hosting their 6th Annual SPRING FLING event. The event begins at 3:30pm with Juniors, 5:00pm Womens and 6:30pm Mixed Gender

At the Door $12

Residents are invited to attend the Annual "Town Hall Meeting" and Public Works Week recognition on Tuesday, May 22, 2018... at the Killam Public Works Shop! Lunch will be $5 a person, and the proceeds will be used for the upcoming playground upgrades!
Town Council will be serving up some burgers - and are looking forward to have a chat! While you're there, feel free to discuss any concerns, questions or observations you've made regarding Killam's 2017 - and maybe even what you'd like to see in the future!
The Killam Cemetery will be holding their annual spring clean up ! If you would like to grab your rake and a pair of workgloves, we would love to have your help for a few hours!
Clean Up takes place on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 beginning at 1:00pm!
A meeting of the Municipal Planning Committee will take place at the Killam Town Office to review two applications that require a variance approval.
Permit #2018-01 - General Retail Building, variance to the front yard setback required
Permit #2018-04 - Residential, access ramp, deck and variance to the front yard setback required
These meetings are open to the Public.
The Town of Killam, in conjunction with Flagstaff Regional Solid Waste Management, are happy to offer the annual Spring Clean Up program again this Spring. The Killam Transfer Site will be OPEN Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 8:30am until 4:30pm. (Closed Noon - 1 for Lunch)
There is NO Charge for regular household garbage. Regular charges for refrigerants ($20) and mattresses ($15) will still apply.
