-Above charges are included with gas consumption for each billing period.
-Utility bills may be paid at either the Credit Union or ATB Financial, by telephone or Internet banking or at the Town Office. Interact, Visa, American Express & Mastercard are also available. You may also arrange an average monthly payment if desired.
-A 5% penalty will be added to all unpaid utility account balances after the month following the billing. All accounts not paid after 30 days from the billing period may be disconnected until satisfactory arrangements are made with the Office.
-Residential garbage pick-up is on Friday, services are provided by Flagstaff Regional Waste Managment (780) 384-3950. The Transfer Site, located 3km east and 1km north on Highway 13, is open on the following days:
*NOTE: The Transfer Site will no longer accept concrete or shingles. However, they can be taken to the Flagstaff Regional Solid Waste Facility.
-All dogs in Killam must be licensed. Licenses may be purchased at the Town Office for $15.00 and must be renewed by January 31 of each year. All tags are $30 after January 31. Dogs must be kept contained in your own yard, or on a leash if being walked. Owners of untagged dogs will be fined.
-Trailers can not be parked on the street unless the trailer is attached to a vehicle by which it may be properly drawn, and when so attached the trailer shall be part of the vehicle. RV's or RV trailers may only be parked on the streets while loading and unloading.
-No vehicle shall be parked on a street for more than 24 continuous hours, with the exception of owners of vehicles parked on a street adjoining their personal property.
-The Town Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Killam now has a new Bulk Water Station in operation! It is located west of the Co-op Bulk Station on Highway 36. An access card is required, please contact the Killam Town Office (Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm) @ (780) 385 - 3977 for set up information and a pin number.
Please note: you must supply your own 3 inch cam-lock hose when filling.
