Sedgewick High is hosting a 65 year reunion for those who attended the school from 1945 - 2010. The event will be held at the Sedgewick Rec Centre. Registration forms will be available at the Town Offices in the New Year.

Summer Fun Program
The Killam Agriplex will again be hosting a Summer Fun Program for children between the ages of 5 to 12yrs. The service will be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Enrollment may be for a week or for the day! Please send a lunch and a snack with your child.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
The Town of Killam is in need of volunteers to help water the flowers during weekends throughout the summer. The water tank is on a small trailer that requires a vehicle with a hitch and 2" ball.
We've had an awesome response, but still require volunteers for the weekends of Aug 14&15, Aug 28&29, Sept 4&5, and Sept 11&12. If you are able to help, please call the Town Office at (780) 385-3977.

Summer Council Meetings
During the summer months, Town of Killam Council will be holding only one meeting per month. This will be on: Thursday, July 22 and Thursday, August 19, beginning at 7:00pm at the Town Office.

The regular schedule will resume in September, with meetings being held on the first and third Thursdays.

Pizza Party & Bike Park Design Night
ACE is holding a "Bike Park Design Night and Pizza Party" for Killam youths! The gathering will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2010 beginning at 6:00pm in the Multipurpose Room at the Killam Agriplex.
You are invited to participate and help determine the features that would be most used at the Bike Park.

The household hazardous waste round up will take place in Killam on Saturday, August 7th at the Public Works Yard between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

Municiple Elections will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010.

If you are interested in acting as a representative, on behalf of the residents of the Town of Killam, and running for Mayor or a Council Member, Nomination Packages are now available at the Town Office.

Nominations must be received on Monday, September 20, 2010 from 10:00am to Noon.
