Agricultural Society, Killam & District

Description:
The Killam & District Ag Society is a volunteer organization that hosts the annual Killam Indoor Rodeo, held every year on the Friday and Saturday prior to Fathers Day in June.  The Killam & District Ag Society also helps with costs for maintenance and insurance of the Killam Recreation Facility (Agriplex and Arena), recognizing that recreation is an important aspect of our rural community. Description:

Community Hall Board

Description:
A volunteer group that manages and fundraises for the Killam Community Hall. Meetings are at the call of the chair.

Fire Department Volunteers

Description:

Volunteer to become a trained firefighter! Opportunity to provide your community with fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency and rescue response.  No experience needed, training is provided. Meeting 2 times a month - the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays.

Lions Club

Description:
The Lions Club is a community service organization.  Some of the events they participate in include:
 - Snowmobile Rally
 - Playoff Hockey Draft
 - Bartending Services for weddings, parties and special events

Public Library Board

Description:
A board that helps promote and inspire the huge variety of programming and services this the Killam Public Library has to offer. The Library isn't just about books any more.  Become part of a team that can introduce many varied interests and activities to be shared right here at home. Meetings take place once a month.

Friends of the Killam Public Library

Description:

A volunteer group that is assigned to the duty of raising funds for the many programs and user opportunities that Killam Library offers its users. Meetings take place once a month, typically in conjunction with the regular Killam Public Library boards meeting.

Seniors Society

Description:
For Killam area Seniors (age 55+) welcome to join in the many scheduled activities! Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 1:30pm.  Pot luck suppers, monthly Birthday celebrations, bowling, floor curling and cards are just some of the things going on.

Description:
Christian Club for all children Kindergarten to Grade 6
Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:15pm

There is a one-time fee of $25 per child for a workook

Killam Baptist Youth Group
Description:
Weekly youth events for Grades 7-12
Most events happen on Friday nights.  Schedule can be found on the website as well as updates posted on the Facebook group.
